What is Lekuka?

Lekuka is RSL's electronic fiscal system

Lekuka is the e-invoicing system run by Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL). A business using it reports each invoice to RSL as it is issued: the invoice is digitally signed by the business's registered fiscal device, sent to RSL, and carries a verification code and QR code that anyone can check against RSL's records.

01

A registered fiscal device

RSL issues each business a Device ID and activation key. The device signs every invoice it issues.

02

Every invoice signed

Sale invoices, receipts, credit notes and debit notes carry a digital signature from that device.

03

Reported to RSL

Signed documents are sent to RSL as they are issued, and each fiscal day closes with its totals reported.

04

QR verification

The receipt carries a verification code and QR code, so the customer can check it with RSL.

How it works in EloERP

From sale to RSL-verified receipt

The cashier or accountant does nothing new. They save the sale as usual, and the steps below run on their own.

1

Save the sale

An invoice, a POS sale, a return (credit note) or a debit note, saved the way your team already works.

2

Signed instantly

EloERP signs the document the moment it is saved, with the RSA-2048 digital signature RSL requires.

3

Receipt prints with QR

The receipt prints straight away with its verification code and QR. Nobody waits for RSL at the till.

4

Sent to RSL

Signed documents go to RSL in strict order in the background. If the internet drops, they queue and send when it is back.

What EloERP does with Lekuka

Lekuka features built into EloERP

Switch Lekuka on per branch, register your RSL device once, and the rest runs inside the invoicing and POS screens you already use.

Device registration in Settings

Enter the Device ID and activation key from RSL. EloERP verifies the taxpayer, creates the device's security certificate and registers it.

Every document signed

Sale invoices, POS sales, credit notes and debit notes are signed automatically when they are saved.

Real-time reporting, with retry

Documents go to RSL in order. If the connection drops, they queue and send automatically when it returns.

Fiscal day handled for you

The fiscal day opens with the first sale and closes on schedule, at your closing time or before RSL's maximum day length, with the day's totals reported.

QR on every receipt

The verification code and QR print on A4 and A5 invoices and on 80 mm and 58 mm thermal receipts.

Fiscal status on every invoice

The invoice list shows which documents are filed, which are queued, and which need attention.

Mistakes stopped before RSL

A wrong currency, an unknown tax rate, a missing buyer TIN above the limit, or a credit note larger than the original is refused before signing, with a clear message.

Test mode and certificate renewal

Try Lekuka in RSL's test environment before going live, and renew the device certificate from Settings.
